ہم اسکول میں پڑھنے کے لیے جاتے ہیں۔
1. We go to school to study.
ہم سبزی خریدنے کے لیے منڈی جارہے ہیں۔
2. We are going to market to buy vegetables.
کیا وہ نماز پڑھنے کے لیے مسجد میں جاتے ہیں؟
3. Do they go to mosque to offer prayers?
آج صبح میرا چھوٹآ بھائی مجھ سے ملنے کے لیے آیا ہے۔
4. My younger brother has come to see me this morning.
کیا تم صرف شرارتیں کرنے کے لیے ہی اسکول آتے ہو؟
5. Do you come to school only to make mischief?
لوگ شیروں کی لڑائی دیکھنے کے لیے میدان میں جمع ہو گئے۔
6. The people assembled in the ground to see the lion-fight.
کیا اسلم نے یہ چیزیں نفع پر فروخت کرنے کے لیے خریدی ہیں؟
7. Has Aslam bought these articles to sell on profit?

وہ اپنے جوتے مرمت کروانے کے لیے جا رہا ہے۔

کیا تم نے کبھی تیر کر یہ ندی عبور کرنے کی کوشش کی ہے؟

ماں باپ کی اطاعت کرنا نیکی ہے۔

کھلی ہوا میں سانس لینا صحت کے لیے بہت مفید ہے۔

گہرے پانی میں تیرنا خطرناک ہوتا ہے۔

لوگوں نے آگ بجھانے کے لیے بہت جدوجہد کی۔

بہادر آدمی نے ننھے بچے کی جان بچانے کی پوری پوری کوشش کی۔

Exercise 2                         
پیچھے ہٹنا مشکل تھا اور آگے بڑھنا نا ممکن تھا۔
1. To retreat was difficult and to advance was impossible.
اس قسم کی باتیں کرنا حماقت تھی۔
2. To talk like that was a folly.
کیا وہ یہاں سے جانے کو ہیں؟
3. Are they to leave from here?
ہر آدمی ایک باعزت زندگی بسر کرنا چاہتا ہے۔
4. Every person wants to live an honourable life.
میں نے اپنی آنکھوں سے چور کو نقب لگاتے دیکھا تھا۔
5. I myself saw the thief breaking into.
وہ اس قدر مغرور ہے کہ غریبوں کی طرف دیکھتا بھی نہیں۔
6. He is too proud to look at the poor.
بھیک مانگنے کی نسبت مر جانا بہتر ہے۔
7. It is better to die than beg.
نقل مار کر پاس ہونے سے بہتر فیل ہو جانا ہے۔
8. It is better to fail than pass by cheating.
میں سیب کھانے کی نسبت آم کھانا بہتر سمجھتا ہوں۔
9. I had rather eat mangoes than apples.
انھوں نے ہاتھ ملنے کے سوا کچھ نہ کیا۔
10. They did nothing but wring their hands.
آپ کو گھبرانے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔
11. You need not to worry.
اسے جھوٹ بولنے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔
12. He need not to tell a lie.
ماسٹر صاحب نے ہمیں تختہ سیاہ کی طرف دیکھنے کا حکم دیا۔
13. The teacher bade us look at the black board.
ذرا اسے لکھنے کے لیے قلم دے دو۔
14. Give him a pen to write.
یہ پھل کھانے کے قابل نہیں ہے۔
15. This fruit is not good to eat.
مجھے افسوس ہے کہ میں اس کا دل توڑ دیا۔
16. I am sorry to have broken his heart.
وہ چاہتا ہے کہ اسے پہلا انعام دے دیا جائے۔
17. He wishes to be given the first prize.
نوکر سے کہو کہ لیمپ بجھا دے۔
18. Tell the servant to put out the lamp.
میں نے اشرف سے تمام سوال حل کروائے۔
19. I made Ashraf solve all the questions.
میں جانتا ہوں کہ نعیم خواہ مخواہ ہنس پڑتا ہے۔
20. I know that Naeem starts laughing for nothing.
Exercise 3:
نئے کپڑے پہن کر وہ اسکول چلا گیا۔
1. Putting on new clothes, he went to school.
حساب کے سوال نکال کر حفیظ کرکٹ کھیلنے کے لیے چلا گیا۔
2. Having solved the sums of Mathematics, Hafeez went to play cricket.
اسے ایسی حالت میں دیکھ کر میری آنکھوں میں آنسو آ گئے۔
3. Seeing him in such a condition, my eyes were filled with tears.
یہ پژمردہ پھول آپ کو کس نے دیا تھا؟
4. Who gave you this withered flower?
یہاں کھڑے ہو کر سارا شہر نظر آ سکتا تھا۔
5. Standing here, I could see the whole city.
بعض بچے کھیلنے کودنے کو پہت پسند کرتے ہیں۔
6. Some children like playing and jumping very much.
ریچھ کو اپنی طرف آتا دیکھ ہر سعید نے اپنا سانس روک لیا۔
7. Seeing the bear coming towards him, Saeed held his breath.
گھاس پر ننگے پؤں پھرنا اچھا نہیں ہے۔
8. Walking bare-footed on the grass is not good.
نہر میں تیرتے ہوئے میں نے ایک سانپ دیکھا۔

شیر کا شکار کھیلنا کوئی خالہ جی کا گھر نہیں ہے۔

لڑکا جلے ہوئے تختے پر کھڑا تھا۔

آسانی سے یاد کیا ہوا سبق جلد ہی بھول جاتا ہے۔

کیا اس بوڑھے کو روپیا جمع کرنے کا بہت شوق ہے؟

میں پیدل چلنے سے گھوڑے پر سوار ہونے کو بہتر سمجھتا ہوں۔

اچھی صحت کے لیے سونا ضروری ہے۔

ادھار دینا اور ادھار لینا دونوں بری عادتیں ہیں۔
16. Lending or borrowing both are bad habits.
تمباکو نوشی صحت کو بگاڑ دیتی ہے۔
17. Smoking spoils health.
تمہارے وہاں جانے پر مجھے کیا اعتراض ہو سکتا ہے۔
18. I have no objection to your going there.
میں نے شاہان کو کبھی جھوٹ بولتے نہیں سنا۔
19. I have never heard Shahan telling a lie.
ڈوبتے ہوئے آدمی نے لوگوں کو مدد کے لیے پکارا۔

میں یہ تمام فاصلہ پیدل طے کر سکتا ہوں۔
1. I can cover this whole distance on foot.
آج کل ہوائی جہاز آٹھ سو میل فی گھنٹے کی رفتار سے اڑ سکتے ہیں۔
2. Aeroplanes can fly with a speed of 800 miles per hour nowadays.
آپ میرے ہاں کسی وقت بھی آ سکتے ہیں۔
3. You may come to me at any time.
کیا پولیس مجرموں کا سراغ لگا سکتی ہے؟
4. Can the police trace out the culprits?
وہ کمزور لڑکا اتنا بھاری صندوق نہیں اٹھا سکتا تھا۔
5. That weak boy could not lift such a heavy box.
اسلم وہ بے عزتی برداشت نہ کر سکا۔
6. Aslam could not bear that insult.
کیا آپ اس آدمی کو پہچان سکتے ہیں؟

ہر لڑکا محنت کرتا ہے تاکہ وظیفہ حاصل کرے۔
18. Every boy works hard so that he may win scholarship.
میں وہ ذمہ داری نہ اٹھا سکوں گا۔
19. I shall not be able to accept that responsibility.
حفیظ نے جھوٹ بولا تاکہ اس کے دوست کی جان بچ جائے۔
20. Hafeez told a lie so that his friend’s life might be saved.

Bangladesh:
·        Bangladesh is a Secular Muslim country in South Asia with an area of 147570 Km2 and population of 17000000 approx.
·        Capital of Bangladesh is Dhaka and Cox’z Bazar is the longest natural sandy beach. Bangladesh is also called the land of rivers because Bangladesh has almost 700 rivers including tributaries. Bangladesh is also called the land of Golden fibre due to its production of Jute
·        Bangladesh was founded by Sheikh Mujeeb ur Rehman and Current Prime minister of Bangladesh Haseena Wajid is the daughter of Mujeeb
·        Jatiya Sangsad is the Parliament of Bangladesh
·        BSS (Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha) is the news agency and FI is the secret agency of Bangladesh
·        Ganges and Brahmaputra (the largest rivers of India) falls in Indian Ocean in Bangladesh. Ganges Delta (the largest delta in the world) is present in Bangladesh. Bahamas:
·        It is an Island country in Atlantic Ocean under British Crown with an area of 13880 Km2 and Population of 395000 approx. It is located in the north of Cuba
·        It got independence from UK in 1973 and the current prime minister is Hubert Minnis
·        Capital is Nassau and official language is English. Currency of Bahamas is Bahamian Dollar
·        In January 2020, Hurricane Dorian inflicted a great loss upon the islands of the country
·        SIB is the intelligence agency of Bahamas. Bahamas is famous for tourism
·        Bahamas leaks published on September 2016, on which 150 Pakistanis were mentioned having offshore companies including Abdul Aleem Khan, Jahangir Tareen, Zulfi Bukhari and Shareef Family.
Bahrain:
·        Bahrain is an island country in Middle East has coastline with Persian Gulf. It has an area of 780Km2 and population of 1,570,000 approx. (which includes 50% foreigners) Bahrain is called as Island of Pearls
·        Capital name is Manama. Official language is Arabic. Currency is Bahraini Dinar.
·        Bahrain’s capital Manama and Saudi city Damam are connected by bridge which has been built on a small strip of Persian Gulf.
·        It got independence from UK in 14 August 1971, and Kingdom started from 2002. Current King is Hammad bin Esa Al Khalifa and Parliament name is Council of Representatives.
·        Bahrain is the headquarter of US Navy in the Persian Gulf
·        BIA-1 is the secret agency of Bahrain.
·        Bahrain gave right to vote to the women in 2002. Haya bin Rashid Al Khalifa was the first woman from middle east who became the president of UN General Assembly (UNGA). Bahrain sent Hoda Ebrahim a Jewish woman as an ambassador to US who is the first Jewish woman who has appointed as an ambassador by any Muslim Country
·        Bahrain included almost 33 islands and on which it has almost 6 Hindu Temples and 6 Gurudwara more than any Arab country.
·        Bahrain and Qatar have conflict on 5 islands. This issue rose in 1985 when Bahrain started fortification in Fasht Dibal (an island)
Belarus:
·        Belarus is a landlocked country in Eastern Europe having an area of 207595Km2 and Population of 960000 approx. Belarusian are called white Russian
·        Capital of Belarus is Minsk and Belarus got independence from Soviet Union (USSR) in 1991. Current president is Alexander Lukashenko
·        KDB is the intelligence agency of Belarus. BelTA is the news agency of Belarus and Rouble is the currency of Belarus
·        Berezina River is located in Belarus. Napoleon attacked Russian after crossing this river. Dneiper river is also located in Belarus
·        Belarusian President visited Pakistan in 2015 and 2016 on the invitation of Nawaz Sharif

Belgium:

·        Belga is the news agency of Belgium while VSSE is the secret agency of Belgium

·        World War One was started by invasion of German troops in Belgium
