Countries
·
Norway
is a Scandinavian country in Northern Europe. It shares borders with Russia,
Denmark, Sweden and Finland. Norway is derived from Northweg which means
Northern Way.
·
Oslo
is its capital while Norwegian is its official language. Norwegian Krone is its
official currency.
·
Herald
V is the current Monarch of the country and Erna Solberg is the current Prime
minister of the country.
·
Storting
is the parliament of Norway while Samediggi is a legislature made for Sami
people who are living in Northern Areas of the country since 10000 B.C.
·
Norsk
Telegrambyra or NTB is its news agency while Norwegian Intelligence Agency or
NIS is its secret agency.
·
Only 10 Policemen were killed in second world
war in Norway. Norway Police did not kill a single person since 2006 while US
police killed 1000 persons every year.
·
Norwegian
people are more avid in book reading than any other nation. Norway stands at
number 4 in most peaceful country. According HDI (Human Development Index)
Norway stands in top five countries. It is at number four in per capita income.

Norway’s
largest export is petroleum products. It is one of the least corrupt country in
the world.

Noble
Peace Prize is awarded at Noble peace centre in Oslo every year.

North
Korea is a country in East Asia situated in North of Korean Peninsula. It
shares borders with South Korea, China and Russia.
·
Pyongyang
is its capital city. It has population near 25 million in 120000 square km
approx.
·
Korean
Peninsula got independence from Japan in 1945. Kim Jong-un is the current
chairman of the state affairs commission (since 2011).
·
It
is the only country in the world which runs on necrocracy (rules made by formal
dead leader).
·
Even
though population of North Korea is less than Pakistan but it has more army
than Pakistan and that is 1.2 million.
·
There
are only three TV channels in North Korea. Famous brands are banned in North
Korea.

They
have their own operating system (Red Star OS), their own browser, email, social
media apps and their own famous brands.

Koreans
have to inform govt. while buying a computer. Even haircuts are made with the
govt. permission (Only 28 haircuts are permissible).

Jeans
is not allowed in North Korea.

North
Korean won is its official currency. 38th Parallel line is the
border between North Korea and Russia.

KCNA
(Korean Central News Agency) is the news agency of the country. While RGB
(Reconnaissance General Bureau) is its secret agency.

After
World war II, Korean Peninsula was divided into North Korea and South Korea.
North Korea was captured by Soviet Union and South Korea was captured by USA.
But in 1948-49, these two became sovereign states.

North
Korea and South Korea have Demilitarized zone having width of 4 km and length
of 250 km approx.
·
It
is one of the most corrupt country of the world.
·
North
Macedonia is a landlocked country in Balkan Peninsula of Southern Europe. It
got independence from Yugoslavia in 1991.

Skopje
is its capital while Macedonian Denar is its official currency. Macedonian and
Albanian are its two official languages.

It
was the part of Great Greek Empire and remained its capital territory. Famous
conqueror Alexander the Great was a Macedonian. It also remained the part of
Byzantine Empire and Ottoman Empire.

Pendarovski is its current president and Assembly is their parliament.

The
Sultanate of Oman is a country in Southeast of Arabian Peninsula. It shares
borders with Yemen, UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Muscat
is its capital while English and Arabic are its two official languages. Riyal
is its official currency.
·
Sultanate
of Oman was established in 1970 by Sultan Qaboos who ruled Oman for 50 years
and died in 2020.

Haitham (Cousin of Qaboos) is the current Sultan of Oman

population of Oman is Muslim and Ibadi Muslim is the official religion of Oman.

Oman
shares its maritime border with Iran and Pakistan.

Pakistan
bought Gwadar from Oman paying US$ 3 million.

Majlisul
Dawla (Senate) and Majlisul Shura (National Assembly) are the components of
Omani Parliament.

ISS
is its secret agency while ONA is its news agency.
·
Oman
like other Arab countries, does not depend upon Oil products.

Pakistan
(Islamic Republic of Pakistan) is a Muslim country in South Asia bordered by
India, China, Afghanistan and Iran.

Pakistan
has an area of 796096 square km approx. and population of 220 million approx.

Islamabad
is its capital. Karachi is its largest city and economic hub.
·
Modern
civilization started about 5000 B.C in Pakistan, named as Indus Valley
civilization.
·
Largest
river of Pakistan is Indus River which originates from Himalayan.
·
Pakistan
is fifth largest country by population. Pakistan is the only Muslim country
having nuclear power.
·
98%
population of Pakistan is Muslim.
·
Pakistan
got independence from UK in 1947 and current prime minister of Pakistan is
Imran Khan and President is Arif Alvi.

President of Pakistan was Iskandar Mirza and First Governor General was M.A

deserts (Thal also named as Rohi or Cholistan in Punjab and Kharan in
Baluchistan)

Khewra Salt Mine is the second largest salt mine in the world and the oldest
one.

Pakistan has the eleventh-largest
armed force in the world. It has 617,000 people in its army. UN peacekeeping
missions are supported largely by the Pakistani army.

Glacier – is in
Pakistan.

The largest earth-filled dam in the world
(and fifth largest by structural volume) is the ‘Tarbela Dam’ on the Indus
river in Pakistan. The dam was built in 1968 and 1976. The dam is 143.26 meters
high and 2,743.2 meters long.

The once world’s largest man-made forest is in
Pakistan – the Changa Manga forest (12,423 acres in area). It is named after
two brother dacoits, the Changa Manga forest was originally planted in
1866 by British foresters.

Islamabad is the second most beautiful city in
the world.
·
The Faisal Mosque can accommodate 100000
worshipers at a time. It is considered as the 3rd largest mosque in the
world.

Pakistan is the only nation who get established
on the basis of religion.

Pakistan generated a whopping
$1 billion in freelancing in the year 2017. Freelancing is
the way of providing technical expertise via the internet. Pakistan ranks on
the 4th spot behind India, Bangladesh, and the United States.

In the last five years, Pakistan’s
literacy rate has grown by 250%, the largest increase in any country to date.
·
Pakistani intelligence is considered the best intelligence corps in the world, even better
than the CIA.
·
ISI (Inter Services Intelligence) is the
intelligence agency of Pakistan and PTV is the news agency of Pakistan.
·
Pakistan’s national language is Urdu while
Official languages are English and Urdu.
·
And at Last, Pakistan is the best country in
the world.
