Topic: Five Countries

Palau:

·        Palau is an island country in Oceania with just an area of 459 Km² and population almost 18000 just.

·        It got independence from USA. Tommy Remengesau is the current president.

·        Olbiil Era Kelulau is the name of its parliament.

·        Ngerulmud is the capital city while US DOLLAR is its currency.

·        Belaw or Pelew is the former name of Palau.

Panama;

·        Panama is a country in Central America bordered by Costa Rica and Colombia.

·        Panama City is its capital while Balboa and US DOLLAR are its official currencies. Spanish is its official language.

·        It got independence from Spain but later mixed with Colombia but in 1903 with the help of USA it got separated from Colombia.

·        Panama is famous for The Panama Canal which have same role as Suez Canal in Middle East.

·        Panama Canal connects Atlantic Ocean with Pacific Ocean and helped to trade with Western South American countries like Peru.

·        Panama Papers were published by Mossack Fonseca (A firm that is run by a German-Panamian Lawyer). Three PM’s from throughout the world were affected by it. (Pakistan, UK, Iceland)   

Papua New Guinea:

·        Papua New Guinea is a country in Oceania which is bordered by Indonesia.

·        It got independence from Australia. James Marape is the current Prime minister of PNG. Elizabeth II is the current Monarch

·        Port Moresby is the capital of PNG. PNG Kina is the official currency. English is its official language.

·        It is world’s third largest island country.

·        NIO is its secret agency.

Peru:

·        Peru is a country in South America that shares borders with Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia and Chile.

·        It got independence from Spain. Martin Vizcarra is the current President of Peru while Congress of the Republic is their parliament.

·        Lima is its capital city. Sol is its currency with code word PEN. Spanish is its official language.

·        After Brazil, a larger portion of Amazon Forest is in Peru.

·        The hottest desert in the world The Atacama is in Peru as well as in Chile.

·        Peru is a word derived from Pelu which means river.

·        The ancient Inca Empire was established in Peru.

·        Andina is its news agency while DINI is its secret agency.

Poland:

·        Poland is a country in Central Europe having coastline along Baltic Sea.

·        Warsaw is its capital city. Polish is the official language. Polish Zloty is its official currency

·        Adolf Hitler attacked on Poland in 1939 and started World War II.

·        AW is its intelligence agency while PAP is its news agency.

·        Sejm is its national assembly.
