Topic: Five Countries

Chile:

·        Chile, officially Republic of Chile is a country in South America which shares borders with Argentina, Peru and Bolivia. It has an area of 756102Km² and Population of 18000000 approx. Chile is the longest country of the world from North to South that is 2653 miles.

·        Spanish is its official language while Santiago is its Capital. Peso is official country of the country.

·        It got independence from Spain in September 1810. Current President is Sebastian Pinera.

·        AFP is news while ANI is secret agency of Chile

·        “The Atacama” the driest desert and place in the world is located in Chile. It has not received a single drop of rain from beginning

·        The largest earthquake in the world having Richter scale 9.5 hit in Chile in 1900. Causalities were recorded 1500.

·        Chile is the only country where Penguins are found after Antarctica.

·        Chile is also called country of poets because it has won two Nobel Prize Literature Awards

·        A valley in Chile is called Moon valley as it resembles with moon landscapes

·        Beagle conflict is between Chile and Argentina over Picton, Lennox and Nueva islands.

China:

·        China is a country in Asia (in the north of Pakistan) having an area of 9596960Km² and Population of 145000000 approx. China is world’s most populous country in the world while in area it is ranked at 4^th. China has largest number of neighbors in the world that is fourteen. China shares 585 Km border with Pakistan which is called Khunjrab Pass. It is one of the most peaceful border in the world. Gilgit Baltistan is Pakistani Province which shares border with Xinjiang, Chinese province.

·        Beijing is the capital of China and Shanghai is largest city of  China. Xi Jinping is current president of China. China got independence in October 1949. Pakistan’s relation with China starts from 1951

·        MSS is intelligence agency of  China while XNA is news agency of China. China is named after Qing Dynasty.

·        Mandarin Chinese is the largest spoken language of the world as well as China

·        China is investing $60B in Pakistan in its Project CPEC by which Kashgar and Gwadar will be connected with each other. CPEC is a part of Belt Road Initiative (BRI) taken by China which is connecting almost 60 countries with each other.

·        Corona Pandemic starts from Wuhan a city of Hubei Province China

·        It is scientifically believed that it is spread due to Bats and Pangolins.

·        Indo China War was fought in 1962 in Tibetan Plateau. China is building a dam near Sikkim (Indian State) on which India is being criticizing and urging Nepal to raise voice.(as Nepal is third partner in this conflict)

·        Yangtze is the largest river of Asia as well as China. China has built biggest man made dam on Yangtze river named as Three Gorges Dam.

·        Five stars on Chinese flag represents five ethnic group in China. Xinjiang province has largest number of Muslims in China called Uyghur.

·        China saved a large number of Jews in Second World War as from  its port Shanghai Jews were allowed to enter without visa

·        Even China has a large area but uses a single standard time in whole country.

·        Colombia is a country in South America with an area of 1141748 square km and Population of 50400000 approx.

·        Its capital is Bagota and official language is Spanish. Official currency is Peso

·        It got independence from Spain in July 1810 and Current President is Ivan Duque Marquez.

·        El Tiempo is news agency while DNI is secret agency of Colombia

·        Remember Columbia University is in New York USA not in Colombia

·        Colombia is named after the famous Italian explorer Christopher Columbus

·        The King of Coke Paul Escobar belongs to Colombia. Colombia is ranked first in the World’s happiest place

Congo (The Republic of):

·        Congo is a country in Central Africa with an area of 342000 Square Km and Population of 5300000 approx.

·        Brazzaville is the capital of Congo and official language is French. Currency is Central African Franc

·        It got independence from France in August 1960 and Current President is Danis S. Nguesso

·        Congo River flows through the country which is the deepest river in the world while second by discharge capacity

Congo (Democratic Republic of Congo)

·        Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is a country in Central Africa with an area of 2345409 Km² and Population of 101800000 approx.

·        Kinshasa is the capital of DRC and French is official language. Congolese Franc is official currency

·        It got independence from Belgium in July 1960 and current president is Felix Tshisekedi

·        ANR is intelligence agency of DRC and CAJ is news agency of DRC

·        DRC is one of the most diverse nation with 200 ethnic group.

·        Civil War of DRC killed 5.4 million (most casualties after Second World War).

·        Former name of Congo was Zaire.

·        DRC is the host of UN peace keeping mission with 21000 soldiers from 50 different countries

·        DRC is among most richest country by resource but still a poor country due to civil wars.
